I said it on Instagram but will say it here, too - this is fantastic. And it reminded me of the card table that came in the back of the early Honda CRVs - stashed under the upholstery in the trunk. Honda very much thought CRV owners would be camping or tailgating or otherwise doing things that called for a handy card table. A few years ago, a friend bought an older CRV (the model year after my first one) and I asked him if it still had a card table in the back. It did. He was pleasantly surprised. That's probably the last model that included it, though. I kind of miss it.
So funny! Saving this for every time I need a good laugh :-)
Thank you, it means a lot! I'm not kidding. I lost at least one paid subscriber since I posted that, and it made me feel like Fozzie the Bear onstage.
I’m sitting outside and there is probably too much hilarity & chaos on this street corner already, but can’t wait to watch this when I’m home.

Thank you! Sarah has a 2009... I'm going to look under the rear mat for a card table. That's amazing. I love quirky car stuff like this.
Let me know if it's there! I had a 2001 and I think my friend had the 2002 or 2003. My 2012 doesn't.
Now that I think about it, it may have ended as a feature once they took the spare tire off the back and put it in the trunk.
