Also, BTW -- that tree frog! When/where did you see that? Amazeballs, I can't get it out of my head.

Um it was in my patio umbrella. They hump in our backyard. They think it's a tree, and they fall out when I open it. I catch them so Louie doesn't eat them

I thought my husband was the last Netflix disc subscriber. He'll be glad to know he's got company.

Thanks for this lovely post, it cheered me up.

I'm notorious for finding silver linings (real or imaginary). It's like fencing--just keep going until you see "the hole" (in your opponent's defense) and then dive in with all you've got. But if you aren't looking for the hole, you won't see it. That's my theory, anyway.

Definitely. I don't believe that progress is inevitable, it always requires work. But the openings are there, if you are ready to fight for it.

Thanks so much for the shoutout, and I can't wait for the kayaking adventure. I feel much the same in terms of being a librarian without a cat (currently) as you do as a Subaru driver without a kayak, I'm pretty sure it's against the bylaws & I'm gonna start getting fined at some point. Which is why I've started looking at adoption websites again.
