That's a smashing new car -- love the colors & looking forward to the adventures to come. It looks like a lot of fun. :) I have high aspirations for my mornings, though in my case, they're not always fulfilled -- poetry is on the list, as well as having a full cup of coffee before work, a brisk walk, staring meaningfully into the middle distance, it all sounds so wonderful before the alarm actually sounds -- but sometimes I do manage to grab one of those and when it's poetry's turn, I've been reading Patricia Smith and Ocean Vuong (who's great but also a bit of a jolt into the reality of the day, I must say). I'll add your recommendations to the list. Oh, and that's an amazing picture of the catacombs! Thanks so much for the shoutout.
Thanks. It's good ugly. I only end up reading in the mornings because Louie, our giant tabby, refuses to let me sleep later than 7am. So I may as well read.
I don’t think I can attach pics to this thing but I did just recently take a picture of Malka’s expression when I try sleeping in. The displeasure in every whisker! So you’re right, that does help. :)
I don't think we can attach images to replies. Louie is very upset whenever I'm away. Today I was gone from 10am until 3pm, and he's been curled up beside me in my reading chair for the past few hours while I read up on Pine Barrens history.
Malka’s much the same. I was gone a lot of the day yesterday & was worried that by the time I returned she might be holding a little picket sign to protest conditions. Fortunately, after explaining to me exactly how I had abdicated my responsibilities, a good long cuddle seemed to resolve her concerns.

I updated the post with the photo from the Paris catacombs. Ah, Paris.
You're ready to live in Missoula now that you have a Subaru. I really like the colors too.
I'm a bougie white dude so I probably should. I think it's required.
Thanks so much for the mention! Wendall
I'm just about to order the book -- it's on backorder though. :)
Might have to get the kindle. Or check Poisoned Pen bookshop. I think that's their press?
