I’m so thrilled about this. I loved reading it the first time round -- it helped pull me through the pandemic -- and I can’t wait to enter Vyx’s thrilling, scary, and ultimately meaningful & magical world again.
I can't even begin to tell you how much I enjoyed that weekly read!!! I honestly think it's one of your best works! The imagery is so vivid, and the writing is so perfect, it just pulls you right into Vyx's world. I can't wait to read it again, AND for the sequel!!!! 🥰
Same. Sales reports can be seriously demoralizing, not because we aren't getting rich--we never thought we would at this gig--but because they represent so few readers. (Just been going through that myself, pretty depressing tbh). I've even met authors who don't read the other stories in the anthologies they're in, & I'm like, WTF? Attempting to motivate myself to get back on the horse (or bull, more aptly) by trying to figure out what story to tell myself to keep going. A tale of a 12-year-old vs. the world who won't quit sounds like the right ticket.
That's part of what burned me out. Write for yourself, you're a good writer. I've got 900 people who get this newsletter, even if only a handful comment. My audience is here. I never wanted to be famous. I wanted to tell stories.

Thanks, sis. The final draft is being formatted, and once the cover is completed it will be published.
What a cool project!
This is very welcome news! I've been wondering what was happening with this book. Looking forward to buying, recommending, and enjoying it.
Thank you, Bridget!
Always glad to hear there's another story from you. Please never quit.
Thanks. Honestly, I nearly did.
